By the same token, does sharing finances with your partner necessarily mean putting yourself at risk? How can partners develop trust when considering finances? For singles, is it worth having several bank accounts or will one suffice?

Today's guest-panellist, Anna-Lee Nagorcka, answers those questions while sharing insights on how to get started investing, while discussing the work of "The Barefoot Investor," as a starting point for considering new ways to manage your finances. Fans of linguistics will also love the side-line topic of Irish-Gaelic in Ireland, where Australian-born Anna-Lee spent a number of years working and travelling.
